19th Century French Renaissance Hunt Buffet ~ Credenza is a remarkable feat of design and cabinetmaking intended for a special client, indeed!  Hand-crafted from solid old-growth oak and inset with Carrara marble, its overall height and depth make it a great choice as a credenza, or a dry bar.  Fully gadrooned edge around the top presides over three pull out marble inset surfaces ideal for entertaining or simply as extensions for surface use.  They in turn are positioned above three spacious drawers, each finely carved with foliate relief and separated by rectangular rosettes, which also appear over barley twist columns that form the framework around the three door panels below.  The left and right doors feature scenes from a successful hunt, while the center door celebrates a bounty of fruit, with all three compositions exquisitely framed with hand-carved molding detail.  A boldly gadrooned base below is finished out with large turned bun feet.  Doors & drawers open wide, and with the piece's overall depth create a cavernous interior for amazing storage!
