19th Century French Renaissance Hunt Buffet is a classic representation of the genre, with captivating and realistic hand-carved details and sculpture across the entire facade.  Rendered from sold old-growth hand-select oak, it features a solid plank top with demilune gadrooning around the edge, overlooking the drawer tier.  The drawers are carved with grapevines where the vine serves as the drawer pull.  In between the drawers is a bold rosette, and flanking the drawers on each side are full relief renderings of hunting dogs' heads.  Another full wraparound tier of carved molding defines the boundary between the drawers and the cabinets underneath, which are themselves surrounded in carved frameworks and flanked by pilasters on the corners lavished with classic corbels and bounty of the earth motifs in bold full relief.  Yet another wraparound base molding finishes the framework, supported by bun feet.  However, it's the sculptures on the cabinet doors that are visually arresting.  On the left, we see the bounty of a very successful fishing expedition, with lobster, fish and eel, all considered a delicacy, on a background of grapevines.  On the right, a successful hunt with a gamebird portrayed over vines found in the field.
