Sale19th Century Flemish Renaissance Buffet was hand-crafted from solid oak, and features the unique molding designs of the region, creating a diamond shaped centerpiece on the cabinet doors into which a full relief carving of a lion's head has been placed. Lions' heads also appear atop the corners, presiding over a bold corbel and carved pilasters. Stylized egg & dart envelope the entire upper tier, with two drawers accessed by cast bronze ring pulls. Greek coin overlay adorns the center stile, with a different version of the same motif horizontally across the base just above the boldly molded baseboard supported by bun feet. Cabinet doors and drawers open to reveal abundant storage, making this as functional as it is a timeless piece of architecture!
