19th Century Crucifix in Oval Giltwood Frame with Glass is remarkably well preserved, and perfect for a devotional addition to your home.  The dark stained cross provides a nice contrast to the pewter corpus which exhibits extraordinary detail, all set on a background of burgundy velvet, which is surrounded by the original giltwood frame and even the domed glass has survived the past century!  Note the details in the banner above the corpus, the crown of thorns, and the intricacies of the embossing on the frame.  Ideal for over the doorway, a cased opening, or above the headboard or anywhere a reminder of the message of Jesus is desired!
