19th Century Country French Commode ~ Chest of Drawers is the ideal choice for style and storage!  Timeless design includes tailored lines transitioning into an undulating apron bracketed by scrolled legs tipped with escargot feet.  The top is contoured en arbalette, a shape resembling an archer's bow, as is the entire facade.  Each of the three capacious full-width drawers are accented with subtle yet distinctive hand-carved embellishment including recessed panels with contoured, molded edges, and stylized shells including those at the center which surround the brass key guards.  Brass bale pulls on each side provide visual symmetry and convenience, with a Rococo carving on the apron as an added touch.  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth French oak to last for centuries!
