19th Century French Louis XV Mahogany Marble Top Nightstand represents the restrained interpretation of the style, featuring acanthus fronds on the shoulders of the four cabriole legs, each with escargot feet, as the only carved detail in the design.  Elegantly contoured molding provides a highlight to the casework and apron.  A full width drawer and cabinet door provide sufficient storage, with the cabinet lined in marble.  The finely contoured molded top edge surrounds a luxuriously veined marble top creating an elegant yet carefree surface.  Finished on all sides, it is suitable not only as a bedside companion, but also in other rooms as an end table or side table in a seating group, making a great spot for a lamp with a drawer for remote controls and a cabinet for books and magazines.
