19th Century Hand-Carved French Renaissance Wall Shelf is an intriguing decorative item that was designed to display small heirlooms and collectibles in a prominent location for all to appreciate.  Sculpted from solid old-growth oak, it features a contoured upper and lower shelf supported by the back panel and two intricately shaped side supports, each with a lion's head at the top.  The main panel boasts an elaborately styled framed rendering centered with an anthropomorphized lion's face at the center in full relief.  Perfect for the masculine decor!
