19th Century French Louis XIV Carved Fruitwood Pedestal is a masterful sculpture in its own right, with brilliantly executed Corinthian capital atop an elegantly tapered shaft adorned with acanthus plumes and Green coin overlay, with shelf motif rising up from the base to meet the work.  The base itself is comprised of multiple tiers of expanding molding with bun feet on the corners for maximum stability.  Ideal for displaying your statuary, vases or objets d'art!
