Antique French Mahogany Flip-Top Game Table was sculpted from exotic imported mahogany in the timeless Louis XV manner, with two tiers supported by four scrolled and carved legs.  The lower tier acts as a convenient shelf while providing structural support in a stylish way.  The top swivels open to reveal game piece storage above, and swivels a full 90 degrees whereupon one can flip open the game playing surface.  When closed, however, this lovely piece appears to be a two-tiered end table, and due to its depth, would make an excellent choice as a diminutive self-supporting console as well!  Carved embellishments include acanthus fronds and escargot motifs.
