Louis XVI Marquetry Marble Top Commode with Bronze Mounts is a timeless rendition of the neoclassic style!  Rendered from indigenous hardwoods, it features an intricate parquet background on the sides and front, centered with an oval artistically inlaid using the techniques of marquetry to create an image, in this case a Romanesque urn with foliates.  Additional visual accents are provided by bronze ring pulls with guards, a laurel garland with ribbon above the marquetry, corbels on the corners and collars with foot tips on the legs.  A wonderfully neutral selection of marble completes the look providing a carefree surface you'll quickly learn to appreciate!
