Antique French Louis XV Walnut Commode with Carrara Marble is the stylish way to provide both an elegant surface and convenient storage in any room!  The luxurious Carrara marble with subtle gray veining has a beveled edge around the rectilinear casework which contains two half-drawers and three full-width drawers.  Each drawer is fitted with intricately cast brass bale pulls and the full width drawers have added cast key guards to match.  Cross-matched veneering on raised panels creates visual intrigue, while the lower apron combines the same raised panel with added carved embellishments of acanthus plumes on the scrolled legs with escargot feet, and a splendid shell with foliates in full relief at the center.
