Antique French Louis XV Demilune Commode ~ Cabinet is an unusual combination of style and function.  Hand-crafted from solid oak and cast brass, it features a demilune form ideal for narrow wall sections, cozy niches or high traffic areas.  Four legs provide free-standing capability, with the front legs elegantly scrolled, complementing the scrolled and carved wraparound apron.  Four drawers are stacked down the middle, each fitted with a brass pendant pull and a modicum of carved detail.  The side cabinets really stand out, with bas relief of classic Rococo motifs on the curved surfaces, accented with cast brass key guards.  As little floor space as it requires, the piece nevertheless offers surprising storage.
