Antique English Mahogany Veneer Chest of Drawers

Antique English Mahogany Veneer Chest of Drawers represents a design whose efficiency was refined over the course of centuries!  Created long before the advent of "walk-in" closets, such pieces kept undergarments and light clothing ready at hand.  Smaller items fit perfectly in the two top drawers, with a shallow full width drawer immediately underneath, and two full depth drawers to finish out the casework.  The entire facade is enveloped with rich mahogany veneer, with grain patterns specifically chosen and positioned for the drawer faces.  The two small drawers are centered with brass ring pulls mounted on embossed brass rosette guards, while the three full width drawers support a brace of ring pulls with matching guards. Subtle molded detail finishes out the look, with support provided by gently flared legs connected with a scrolled apron.
