19th Century Liegoise Louis XIV Commode ~ Chest of Drawers represents the grandeur of the era, yet rendered in solid oak with brass only as an accent, making it much more compatible with today's more casual decors.  The contoured, beveled top overlooks three enormous drawers, each with a facade that follows the contours set by the top, lavished with carved detail all across, and with each drawer fitted with a cast brass pull.  Undulating apron is supported by feet set on the mitered corner plane, finished in volutes for an elaborate finishing touch.  Even the corners are embellished with carved detail indicating wonderful attention to detail!
