Pair 19th Century Louis XIV Buffets in Stripped Oak will create stylish symmetry in any room! Perfect for niches flanking a fireplace, on opposite or adjacent walls, or even side by side to create a long effect, each identical twin was hand-crafted from solid oak to last for centuries. A solid plank top presides over the double drawers, which in turn rest over the pair of cabinet doors which open wide to reveal surprising storage space. Carved details include shell, floral and foliate motifs, with the center stile embellished as much as the remainder of the facade. Cast brass key guards and drawer pulls complement the brass hinges for a touch of visual accent, with the entire affair supported by carved and scrolled aprons with scrolled legs. Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
