Grand French Louis XVI Flame Mahogany Buffet with Carrara Marble represents the epitome of restrained elegance crafted on a larger scale than usual. Stretching over eight and a half feet in width, it is topped with luxuriously veined Carrara marble with a nice cove bevel and rounded on the sides with a slight step-front to follow the contours of the casework below. The casework's facade is a striking flame mahogany across the entire front, with a total of five cabinet doors each with a subtle raised panel outlined in brass trim molding for a clean, tailored architecture. A one-tier base molding below is supported by four tapered and fluted legs, each fitted with cast brass collars that complement the pair of brass rosettes above just under the marble. The rounded side doors open to reveal capacious storage, with brass gallery rails on the right side, with shelves fitted with glass for a nice touch. Three capacious cabinets are situated behind the three main cabinet doors, with the left side comprising four interior drawers, each fitted with cast brass ring pulls with guards. The perfect choice to create understated opulence!
