Antique Grand French Louis XVI Buffet ~ Credenza in Stripped Oak was crafted on a scale suitable for a gracious manoir!  The facade is just under nine feet in width boasting room for four cabinet doors and an entire tier of four vertically stacked drawers at the middle in a step-front configuration.  The long, spacious top provides ample opportunity for display and entertaining, and the entire affair is set upon six tapered and fluted legs to give it a surprisingly airy visual effect regardless of its imposing size.  The aforementioned center section is defined by pilasters with ribbon, floral and foliate carvings which are repeated on each corner post to frame the entire piece.  The drawers are otherwise tailored tailored affairs centered with brass ring pulls.  The cabinet doors, however, showcase the woodcarver's expertise with framed oval medallions, ribbon, fabric swags and a stylized ram's head.  Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
