Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany Marble Top Buffet is a grand rendition of the neoclassical excellence that has emanated from France for centuries! Hand-crafted from exotic imported mahogany, it features a timeless rectilinear architecture with the center section slightly stepped forward for additional visual intrigue from all angles. Solid panels are shown on all facades, with each meticulously framed and on front, trimmed in brass quarter round molding. The base is highlighted in brass, and is emphasized with 3/4 round and 1/2 round fluted columns ending in tapered legs with carved feet. A cast brass mount at the center completes the apron. Doors open wide to reveal cavernous interior, including the uninterrupted center section, with the sides boasting adjustable shelves. The top tier, however, garners the most attention with Greek wave motif framed in brass trim centered with brass ring pulls, and elaborate capital designs cast in solid brass, all situated under the luxurious Carrara marble top contoured to follow the casework and column protrusions below, cut with a cove bevel all around.
