19th Century French Neoclassical Louis XVI Marble Top Buffet ~ Credenza features a 20" depth for voluminous storage yet even though it's seven feet wide, the broadly rounded sides creates a minimal impact on traffic flow in the room. Hand-crafted from solid oak and slabs of wonderfully veined marble, the design includes four drawers and four cabinet doors for easy access, with the entire facade framed in fine molding from top to base. The drawers at the top tier are enhanced with scrolled molding and brass pulls with brass key guards that match those of the doors below, accented with carved rosettes. The cabinet tier features sculpted relief detail depicting a timeless classical horn-shaped urn form bursting with flowers and surrounded by elegant scrollwork, repeating on each door as well as the rounded sides. Support is provided by tapered legs. Created from two identical smaller buffets.
