19th Century French Louis XV Walnut Marble Top Buffet with Ormolu is a stunning example of the refined interpretation of the style!  The elegant casework is defined by its lighter hued walnut, or noyer blonde, and also by subtly scrolled cornerposts on each corner, as well as the pair at the center that frame the two step-front doors at the center.  Each cornerpost is not only adorned with an artistically styled corbel cast in solid bronze mounted on the shoulder, but also an equally impressive foot with uplifted foliate motif.  The gentle undulations of the apron are enhanced by a gorgeous Rococo styled bronze mount at the center, leading the eye up to the four doors which are framed with gracefully contoured molding, cast bronze rosettes and foliates, complemented by cast bronze key guards.  Above the four spacious cabinets appear four generously sized drawers, each fitted with a large, beautiful Rococo style cast bronze pull.  To top it off?  A luxuriously veined marble surface contoured and beveled to complement the casework below.  The bronze and marble set off the exquisite natural beauty of the sumptuous French walnut perfectly!
