Antique Italian Neoclassical Painted Triple Armoire is a magnificent expression of the timeless style introduced to the world by the ancient Greeks and Romans, and still celebrated today!  The tailored, rectilinear form is enhanced by bold molding details from the crown to the base, with enhancements carved right into the wood then highlighted in gold.  Across the top appear floral swags with ribbon, accented with rosettes in between and on the corners.  To offset the crown, the base has the same design of rosettes framing the molding, but with Greek wave depicted in the motif.  In between, three large doors provide access to the cavernous interior, which opens to reveal shelving, interior drawers, and hanging space.  The center door is fitted with a full length beveled mirror, while the side doors are graced with molded panels topped by oval cameos painted with vibrant floral bouquets on gold backgrounds.  The casework is embellished with a two-toned pastel green and subtle olive toned painted finish.  Tapered legs carved with acanthus plumes highlighted in gold provide support.
