19th Century French Louis XV Walnut Triple Armoire is a sublimely stately expression of the refined Rococo style performed by master artisans from sumptous French walnut.  The casework features a center step-front design with three cabinets accessed by three full length hand-beveled mirrors.  The shoulders on the top corners gradually scroll upwards towards the center, where amazingly artistic sculptures of stylized shell, cresting wave, floral and foliates commanding center stage for all to appreciate.  The four rounded and fluted cornerposts in the front are embellished with a touch of foliates at the top, and lead the eye down to the apron which is a study in master sculptural art as well, displaying motifs complementary to the crown above, all supported by four scrolled & carved legs with escargot feet.  In between, the aforementioned full length mirrors are intricately framed with carved molding, then hand-beveled to follow the contours of that molding to create a particularly impressive feature.  All three doors are fitted with brass key guards and brass hinges on the outside which allow the doors to open extra wide, revealing a cavernous interior fitted with a brass hanging rod all the way across.  Truly a spectacular addition to any home!
