Early 19th Century Dutch End Table was fashioned from solid planks of old-growth oak to literally last for centuries! The thick plank top features completely rounded ends so that no corners exist in the design. The top is affixed to two runners that are pegged to the framework below, which makes it easily removable for transport or relocation to another room or floor ~ a Dutch innovation. The single full width drawer with turned pull provides copious and convenient storage. The table is supported by turned legs with urn forms atop spooled designs with plinths on both ends, the upper plinths becoming the corners for the casework that holds the drawer and the lower plinths connected with stretchers all around to provide longevity and strength. Bun feet complete the look.
