Antique French Renaissance Octagonal Carved End Table is an amazing example of the woodcarver's art!  Eight equal sides are supported by four turned and carved legs, fitted with double urn motifs halfway from the top to the cross stretchers below, which themselves are finely turned and connected to plinth blocks with acanthus rosettes, all supported by teardrop feet.  The table apron is astounding, with carved detail in multiple tiers working up from the legs leading the eye to the fully gadrooned edge.  There's even carved detail all around the eight sides on the top of the table, leaving the center for your lamps, urns or objets d'art.
