Antique French Renaissance Octagonal Barley Twist End Table was fashioned from solid oak and features a gadrooned and carved top edge atop an eight sided apron which alternates between a foliate design and a pair of cherubs flanking a Romanesque urn.  Corbels and descenders appear on all the flats including over the four barley twist legs which are in turn connected with barley twist stretchers.  Acanthus rosettes provide additional decoration.  Turned feet provide support.
