19th Century Rustic Spanish End Table ~ Writing Table represents centuries of traditional design emanating from the Iberian Peninsula.  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth indigenous oak, it features a solid plank top supported by two band-saw cut, lyre-shaped leg structures, with each connected to the top via scrolled and flared wrought iron stretchers.  The legs are splayed out as is the custom, and with the strengthening of the attached stretchers, creates a more stable, sturdy platform.  The solid plank top also makes an apron unnecessary, providing maximum knee room should one want to use the table for writing, computer work or study.
