18th Century Country French Stripped End Table bears all the charm of rustic rural craftsmanship, where artisans in the provinces used time-honored techniques to create furnishings that were literally designed to last for centuries! Crafted from indigenous old-growth oak, it features solid planks for the top, with each apron crafted from a single plank, and the legs which attach to the bottom of the top planks hewn from a single timber, with a graceful taper down to the floor. The front is fitted with a well-proportioned drawer providing convenience and storage, accessed with a single brass knob and beveled on the edges. Note the double-pegged mortise & tenon construction. Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
