Antique French Louis XVI Washstand ~ Dresser reflects decades of design refinement, providing the perfect complement to a well-furnished bedroom or boudoir.  Crafted from walnut, it features parquet panels below overlaid with beautifully carved detailing depicting urns with flowers, accompanied by grapevines with grape clusters, acanthus leaves and laurel swags.  Finely cast bronze bale pulls and key guards add a nice touch, and the drawers and cabinets open to reveal abundant storage.  Above, two tiers of luxuriously veined marble provide a carefree surface, and above that a three-panel mirror.  The side mirrors are hinged to fold in providing a more three-dimensional reflection when so desired.  The original beveled mirrors are surrounded by a finely carved framework embellished with motifs complementary to the lower base.  Classic and functional, it will endear itself to your family immediately.
