19th Century French Louis XVI Marble Top Painted Counter ~ Bar is a marvel of craftsmanship and style!  The subtle bowfront contours create a visually appealing presence, while the bold molding and astonishing hand-carved bas relief captivate the imagination!  The entire facade is dominated by an oval carving of musical instruments surrounded by olive branches and intertwined with ribbon and tassels.  Beaded bordering and rosettes combine with the molded detail to create a framework for the artistry.   The side panels open for access from the front.  The top is covered with luxuriously veined rouge marble contoured and beveled to follow the contours of the case below.  Completely open in the back with a floor and single shelf, it is ready to customize for your particular needs, being ideal as a bar, coffee bar, or special display console!
