Antique French Louis XIV Serpentine Commode in Stripped Oak features three drawers plus side cabinets!  Perfect for keeping things organized and in their place, and doing it in style, this piece was fashioned from solid oak, and features a serpentine design allowing it to present no sharp corners for optimum traffic flow in the room.  Each drawer is centered with a cast brass pull, and every drawer facade, as well as the apron and serpentine sides are carved with  Louis XIV-inspired shell & foliate carvings for excellent visual appeal.  Side cabinets feature brass key guards and hinges as well.  Combined with the softness of the finish, it has been painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
