Antique Country French Chiffoniere ~ Petite Commode is a great size to fit in that special niche or in a cozy room.  Crafted from solid seasoned fruitwood, it features a tailored architecture that is enhanced by the hand-carved treatment of the four vertically arranged drawers at the front.  Each drawer sports an inset framework with shell and foliate flourishes, accented by a single cast brass pull at the center.  Corners are rounded and adorned with just a touch of complementary carving, extending down to the subtly scrolled legs with escargot feet.  Constructed with time-honored pegged mortise & tenon joinery, it was made to last for generations!
