Early 19th Century Country French Buffet a Deux Corps was rendered from dense, old-growth oak which has been painstakingly stripped by our expert in-house staff leaving the rich patina of the wood for all to admire! This keepsake piece reflects the time-honored traditional craftsmanship and techniques that have been handed down through the generations. The upper tier is removable for transport, and features an inlaid star centered on the bonnet. Both upper and lower cabinet doors open to reveal a capacious interior free of center stiles, to create the perfect place for storage galore. Tailored panels appear on all sides, with the main doors above and below featuring French scroll frameworks. Steel key guards, barrel hinges and intricate drawer pulls with guards add a nice provincial touch. From the bold crown molding above to the undulating apron below, it exudes a staid presence that will blend with any decor.
