Antique French Louis XIV Step-Front Buffet in Stripped Oak is a great size for a great room, yet not so grand as to be overwhelming to most.  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth oak, it features a step-front design with the two center cabinets advanced out from the side cabinets, creating intriguing visual appeal from any angle.  The broad surface is a few inches shy of eight feet wide, and will provide wonderful serving and display opportunities.  Four huge cabinets open to reveal a cavernous interior with adjustable shelves allowing you to customize the interior to your needs.  Finely cast brass key guards complement the brass hinges, but the hand-carved detailing steals the show with a variety of Baroque-inspired naturalistic scrolls, shells and acanthus plumes.  Six scrolled legs support the carved, undulating apron, and even the side panels have been expertly rendered to create a truly gorgeous instant family heirloom.  Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
