Antique Country French Louis XIV Stripped Oak Buffet ~ Enfilade combines a casual visual appeal with the historical magnificence of the Louis XIV influence to create a piece well-suited for a wide variety of decors.  The proprietary stripped finish results in a lightness of presence, with the original patina of the wood preserved.  Sycamore, maple and oak were used to create the piece, with finely crafted brass barrel hinges and key guards adding a nice accent.  The design calls for a straightforward space-efficient design with the enhancement of a center step-front section with bowed facade housing four very convenient drawers.  The side cabinets open wise to reveal multiple shelves ideal for organizing.  Stylized shell and foliate motifs are carved in fine relief across the facade to increase its artistic presence, even on the scrolled apron below which is supported by scrolled legs tipped with escargot feet.
