19th Century French Louis XIV 2-Door Buffet in Stripped Oak

19th Century French Louis XIV 2-Door Buffet in Stripped Oak represents the essence of understated elegance!  The refined architecture includes an almost square shape and shallow depth creating a piece that is well suited to cozy rooms, niches, or special spots on the wall.  Note the attention to detail on the molding just under the solid plank top.  Corners are rounded and mitered for a regal look, yet there exists no carved detail with the exception of the superlative molding on all sides, creating a stately yet restrained look.  Add that to the subtle warmth of the old-growth oak revealed by our proprietary stripping process performed in house by our expert professionals.  Cast brass key guards and brass barrel hinges complete the look, while on the inside of the drawers and cabinet doors there exists a surprising amount of storage for a piece not even a foot and a half deep!
