19th Century Country French Fruitwood Buffet was designed for an efficient floor plan. Measuring only 17" deep, it will fit where many similar types will not. Just three inches wider than four feet, it's a great choice for passageways, cozy rooms, or under a big flat panel TV. Fine raised panel construction was utilized throughout the piece, even the back, and on the sides creates a visually pleasing profile. The front is where the carved detail shines, with fine molding framing each drawer which was centered with a brass bale pull. The cabinet doors feature a shell crowning a finely molded panel and are fitted with brass key guards. The boldly contoured apron below is lavished with acanthus foliates and flowers, and is framed by the scrolled legs terminating all around in escargot feet. Doors open wide to reveal two surfaces, with the shelf adjustable for incredible versatility!
