18th Century Swedish Gustavian Period Painted Buffet will make a handsome addition to your collection, and a stylistic touch to your decor! Hand-crafted from indigenous old-growth pine that has hardwood properties, it features a neoclassical architecture with diamond forms molded into the drawers and cabinet doors.  The center narrow drawer was designed for cutlery, and all three drawers as well as both cabinets have their original brass diamond form pulls and key guards.  Fine molding provides a framework, while the finish consists of layers of old paint that have achieved a lovely patina and distressed appearance over the decades.  The relatively shallow design makes it perfect for cozy rooms.  A subtle blue tint to the painted finish blends perfectly with the light gray tones.
