18th Century French Louis XIII Wardrobe ~ Armoire is a timeless relic from a bygone era, hand-crafted from indigenous and ubiquitous sycamore to last for centuries!  The rectilinear architecture provides a maximum amount of space utilization, with four doors opening to upper and lower compartments, with two spacious drawers in between, similar in design but a larger expression of the equally timeless homme debout.  The two tiers are identified by wraparound molding, and a sturdy base board below, with diamond-shaped forms surrounded by triangles on each door.  By contrast, the sides consist of eight raised panels all in rectangular form, yet the combination is visually appealing from all angles.  Brass hinges and guarded bale pulls provide easy access, and pull keys will be provided for opening the cabinet doors.  Note the hand-craftsmanship including double-pegged mortise & tenon joinery throughout the design!
