Set of 6 Antique French Walnut Louis XVI Dining Chairs with Embossed Leather will make an excellent addition to your dining experience!  The neoclassical architecture is immediately apparent, with tapered and fluted front legs and fluting on the uprights leading to the seatback that is crowned with a subtle arch carved with a floral spray in bold relief.  The seatback as well as the seat are both upholstered in embossed leather, with a pattern above depicting two birds carrying a floral garland with an oval medallion at the center embellished with flowing ribbon.  The seats, by contrast, depict a Grecian urn bursting with flowers and foliates surrounded by intricately scrolled flowers and foliates in a sublime design that renews the glory days of the classical style.  Brass nail heads cast as rosettes add the perfect finishing touch.
