Mid-19th Century French Renaissance Oval Center Table is a splendid example of the genre, completely hand-crafted from old growth oak!  The spacious oval top is edged with demilune gadrooning with a fletching and scallop shell motif.  Underneath the massive central column features nicely turned detailing to which are affixed the four elaborately scrolled legs with bold foliate and della robia carvings depicting various fruits and foliage.  Between the legs appears a pyramidal block, with more turnings underneath.  Bun feet provide a stable support.
