Antique English Walnut Chippendale Round Center Table combines tailored elegance with classic style, all rendered in sumptuous walnut for a richness in visual appeal.  Egg & dart trim defines the top edge, leading the eye down to the apron rimmed with halfround molding.  Support is provided by four scrolled legs carved with acanthus plumes and lions' paws feet.  A shelf close to the underside of the top provides relatively discreet storage while providing a buttress effect to the architecture of the piece.  Ideal in the center of the room or in a large seating group.
