19th Century Rustic Spanish Colonial Console ~ Sofa Table is also perfectly capable of serving as a desk, even if it's placed behind the sofa!  Combining a solid plank top over five feet wide with more legroom than typical desks of the period, it features dovetailed joints on the three convenient drawers as well as the structural leg supports and casework suspension which is dovetailed directly into the plank top.  A modicum of style flair is exhibited in the scrolled casework supports with panels in between raised and chamfered.  Hand-forged wrought iron pendant pulls on each drawer complement the elegantly scrolled iron braces that connect the underside of the casework to the lyre-shaped leg supports for a classic Spanish look!
