19th Century French Renaissance Library Table in Stripped Oak is perfect as a center table creating a timeless Old World effect.  The rectangular top features a double-molded edge and mitered corners.  Under each corner appears a lion's head in full relief with brass ring, providing a framework for the luxuriously sculpted aprons on all four sides.  Under the aforementioned lions' heads are pendant finials, and the entire tier is supported by carved colonnades on both ends mounted upon exquisitely carved urn-form column legs.  The legs are affixed to the lower structure, loosely crafted in a classic "H" form, with the legs gloriously carved to depict fishes.  The transverse beam is lavished with acanthus leaf pattern for a nice finishing touch.  Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the natural beauty and patina of the century and a half year old wood.
