19th Century English Linen Press ~ Silver Chest was designed for refined living, hand-crafted to store a family's entire collection of table linens and silverware, all raised up on legs to create a cabinet exceptionally easy to access! Two piano hinged doors open to reveal four surfaces in the upper cabinet unobstructed by a stile, while two drawers immediately underneath are configured for organizing silverware. The straight, tailored lines makes this a great choice for the tailored decor. Post style legs below are connected with stretchers for added sturdiness, with only a slight emphasis on corbel-style treatment of the lower apron; otherwise the lines are rectilinear. Brass key guards and bale pulls add a visual touch as well as convenience. Hand-crafted from solid sycamore to provide enjoyment for decades to come!
