Antiques in Style ~ Tablescapes Revisited

Tablescapes Revisited ~ the title of my November article in Grand Luxe Magazine, was published at a perfect time to provide antique inspirations for your holiday table decorating.  I have always loved this time of the year, when our tablescapes take on a special meaning while our families gather around the home.

Antiques in Style-Grand Luxe Magazine

The article covers ten years of our dramatic displays at the Dallas Country Club.  It was hard to limit the amount of photos to just one page for the layout, so I decided to publish some additional photos in this blog.

Kappa Kappa Gamma sponsors the event held this time each year, with proceeds going to charity.  They invite the cream of Dallas’ designers and florists to a friendly competition, each producing their own version of the most impressive holiday table.  Every year for a decade we create splendid table settings ~ each carefully composed to reflect a different antique style.  We always strive to produce a most dazzling show, artfully congregating together antiques, flowers, china and silverware. As always, antique treasures take center stage with styles ranging from Country French to Renaissance to Gothic.
