It is a great time to stop by our showrooms since we have received shipments, unpacked crates and rearranged vignettes. If you have already joined us on Facebook, then you have had a chance to see some of the sneak previews of these new exciting antique displays. Our talented team had a lot of fun setting up different vignettes for antique and interior design inspirations. Just last week our Baton Rouge showroom unpacked treasure after treasure of the latest container from Europe of antique armoires, buffets, lighting, accessories, mirrors, paintings, jardinières, statues and culinary antiques ~ all so exciting and going fast. Many items have already found lovely homes, but this container is so big (over 400 items) we still have an impressive selection. Of course our photos will speak louder than words…
If you love the rustic and Country French look, then these settings should appeal to you. Since the kitchen was the center of the country home, pottery, bonbonnes, cutting boards, and other culinary antiques are essential in recreating the feeling of hearth and home that is Normandy, Provence and Luberon.

The hunt was popular in French country manors and a favored pastime that developed into what we call today the Hunt or Black Forest styles. Here we used still life paintings of game, hand-carved accessories, barometers, cave à liqueurs, and gentlemen’s boxes for accents. In our Dallas store we just acquired a large collection of trophies ~ perfect to accentuate the stylish hunt look.
The romance and elegance of a French chateau is classic and unmistakable in its appeal. Whatever your preference, the extravagant Rococo or perhaps the contrast of Neo-classical, chic lines or maybe the softer feel of Paris Country, this vignette surely has it all! The crystal chandelier, pastorals, romantic paintings, the horloge garnitures, the jardinières, the statuary of terracotta and bronze are all set on bombe commodes and marble consoles.
All the lovely antique items you see in these vignettes and the collage above are each meticulously photographed so you can take a closer look.
