I love the beginning of the New Year! One’s mind is full of excitement and anticipations of wonderful new things to come, with many new ideas and plans ahead of us. It is also a time to reflect on all the blessings of the past year. I am grateful for the amazing opportunity to have a chance to pen my monthly column Antiques in Style in a great magazine ~ Grand Luxe ~ and have truly enjoyed the creative processes which include researching new topics, writing and styling our photo shoots.

I thought it was ideal to talk about this instrument of the measurement of time as we begin a New Year. I find the eye appeal and elegance of clocks, when combined with the diversity of styles available to us, makes them a perfect decorative accessory for all that love things old and beautiful.
