Spring has just flown by and summertime is almost upon us. Wow, do we have amazing things forthcoming for our antique showrooms! I just returned from our most successful European buying trip, and I just can’t wait until all the antique treasures arrive and we can share them with you. The first 45’ High Cube container is arriving in Dallas in early June with over 600 antique items (our largest amount ever in one container shipment!). If you have a passion for all things antique and vintage, then this huge container is for you, because we sourced a bit of everything from across the European continent. There’s tons, and I mean tons of inspiration for creating interiors thirsting for 18th and 19th century furniture, accessories, decor and lighting. As always, my trip covered thousands of miles, as we hunted and gathered what caught our eye. The journey encompassed the wonderful markets, villages and estates across the Continent to bring the best and finest treasures ~ and amazing bargains as well! To celebrate this wonderful new container, which is already online in our container section, we are doing an exciting new antique giveaway:

For the antique giveaway: one of our lovely vintage watering cans, just perfect for your French Shabby Chic Décor. The photo below shows one of the ways you can use this for fun decorating ideas. I found some beautiful fresh hydrangeas, Queen Anne’s lace and seeded eucalyptus to make a great seasonal display. Many thanks for visiting with me today, hope you have a wonderful week!
So many lovelies, but my favorite is the painted country french buffet!
Thanks, Denise! I’m so glad you enjoy it. Antique pieces in great condition like this are hard to find, and we are lucky to have found it! The paint is all original with a wonderful patina.
I love the Crucifix statue. Beautiful
Wonderful! We are blessed to have found so many beautiful crucifix statues this buying trip.
Love the pewter coffee pot. It makes me wonder about all the conversations held around it!
I agree, Sheila! That’s a fantastic thing to think about.
I just adore the embossed brass jardinière! And the country French trumeau and goat cart. I have so many favorites!
I love the cast bronze ink stand. I started my ink well/stand collection with a piece I purchased from Inessa, about 21-years ago, in Baton Rouge. It still is my favorite piece!
Love all antiques. things were built to last, and they did, or they wouldnt be around today in modern society. Antiques reminds me of the movie, Gone With The Wind!! Time and style waits on no one..!!!
