Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany QUEEN Bed with Ormolu will create an incredibly timeless elegance for any bedroom!  Hand-crafted from exotic imported mahogany, it features sunrise marquetry on the headboard, with cubic parquetry on the footboard flanking the center focal point, which consists of a circular marquetry medallion framed by a cast bronze wreath topped with ribbon.  A similar motif is cast in bronze for the headboard crown, lavishly cascading outwards from the subtly arched crown.  Ormolu garlands appear at the tops of all four corner posts, and for a stunning finale, Greek wave with laurels all across the footboard.  Crafted on a larger scale than most antique beds, it has been slightly lengthened by our expert in-house professional staff to accommodate a Queen size mattress set, complete with over-engineered slats for decade after decade of luxurious slumber.
