Antique French Louis XIV QUEEN Bed in Stripped Oak

Antique French Louis XIV QUEEN Bed in Stripped Oak has been converted to accommodate a modern queen size mattress set!  Hand-crafted from old-growth oak to last for centuries, it features hand-carved sculpted embellishment inspired by the styles that enamored the Sun King.  Both the head and foot boards have been crafted with a triple crown design, the head centered with a basket of flowers as a stunning centerpiece.  The bold, undulating molding framing both are separated by a contoured carved center stile, with panels elaborately contoured and embellished with stylized urn forms with flowers and intricate scrollwork designs with foliate flourishes.  The rails will be extended 2.5" by our expert in-house staff to easily accommodate a queen mattress and foundation, which will ride on the top of the rails and be fully supported by five sturdy slats also added by our craftsmen to provide you with decade after decade of enjoyment.  Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary, non-toxic process that retains the natural beauty and patina of the wood.
